Armenian children need more support to overcome war trauma
Armenian society is still grappling with the devastating impact of last year’s Second Nagorno-Karabakh War. The conflict cost over 4,000 Armenian lives and plunged the country into a prolonged political crisis. Meanwhile, thousands of children continue to live with the effects of the war and are in danger of becoming a lost generation if more is not done to aid their rehabilitation.
As a result of the 2020 conflict with Azerbaijan, approximately 35,000 people were forced to leave their homes in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region and flee to Armenia. This displaced population consists mostly of women, children, and the elderly.

Help people in need
I am a person with multiple interests. I am passionate about civil initiatives and movements. Being an energetic, active, outgoing person I am keen on being involved in different social activities such as charity campaigns. The last experience in this field was during the Covid-19, I was eager to start a project to help people in need as I was really concerned with the current situation brought by the outbreak of Covid -19. I organized a charity campaign and promoted it through a Facebook post, soon people from different countries started donating money. As a result, 50 families living in Yerevan and 19 families from the regions were provided with food, products of hygiene and cleaning supplies.
